Meet the Chief Executive Officer

Mark Viant, PhD FRSC FRSB

Mark has 20 years of experience developing and applying omics technologies in toxicology, publishing over 190 papers. His research identifies molecular mechanistic solutions to the chemical safety challenges faced by industry and regulators. He also holds a Chair in Metabolomics at the University of Birmingham, UK, he is Executive Director of Phenome Centre Birmingham – a centre specialising in toxicometabolomics, and a past President of the International Metabolomics Society. Mark is the lead metabolomics expert within the Chemical Safety Programme of the OECD.
